  3. Arbor Update: ArborUpdate.com is a volunteer run news and discussion site for the Ann Arbor community
  4. Backfence: Ambitious effort launched in Reston and McLean, Va. in 2005 and shut down in spring 2007.

Bull Shoals Beacon  is a community magazine edited and written by community members of a small town in a North Central Arkansas Ozarks lake resort area.  The magazine launched in late June 2008 and is steadily adding features and writers.  This is a non-profit community endeavor to provide more in depth discussion of issues that affect the immediate area.
